Keeping Toddlers Busy During The Winter
Colder days and dark evenings might be snuggly and fun for adults but for busy toddlers it can be challenging! Since our weather turned cold here I am been scouring the internet for things to keep her busy on super cold days and in the evenings when it’s dark outside. Here are the best things I’ve found so far!
Perfect for the car.
Doing them together is key to keeping my little one engaged - and there are some smaller pieces so I like keeping a close eye.
Indoor Trampoline Places
I googled places locally and found one with a “toddler zone”.
Gymnastics
Our local gymnastics as “open play” that toddlers can attend and classes starting at 18 months.
Local Library Events
Most libraries offer a weekly story time or other activities.
Music Lessons
I searched online for a music company near me and found one that would start music lessons at 18 months.
I also search weekly in the facebook events section. Some are a bust but we have found a LOT of fun activities that we’ve enjoyed the last 2 months.
