Today, when I was cleaning out my closet, I found some old shorts and capris stuffed up at the top. It was such an amazing feeling to try them on and see that they were all too big! I remember barely being able to button them last year..

20 lbs between these pictures, 30 minute daily at home workouts with my baby by my side and balanced nutrition that does not cut any food group.

Being a first time mom is a huge shift! It has stretched me both physically and mentally.

My little guy is the biggest and most exhausting blessing.

During my pregnancy I gained a total of 45 pounds. From the day I went into the hospital until today I have lost 50 lbs and countless inches. It is amazing and I am so proud of those numbers but I did not do it for the number.

I choose to live a healthy life so that I feel strong, confident and energized.

I also want my son to see that health and fitness is just a part of every day life and not the sole focus.
